Ebbing & flowing…
…from hills to valleys
…from mountains to plains
…from lakes to oceans

…traveling & traversing
…overcoming & conquering
…fighting & winning
…with calm & joy
…happiness & gaiety
…accepting fate as it
Comes in the way
…just like the rocks & gravel
Leaving behind silt & minerals
Like the values & vision
Passed on by ancient wisdom that lay

Joining the ocean as the fossils in the soil
Returning to its fraternity the river flows
Sharing its wisdom with every other folk
Dying in the sun to reform into the clouds
Covering the heavens all day
& being subjected to aggravation it prays
Acquiring the enlightenment of the archaic play
Persisting by the age-old cycle of reincarnations that permit
To be reborn as the ever reliable river, it stays
Increasing the wealth of experience everyday
Growing in stature as it bloats in its quest
It continues to balloon ever in its zest
Teaching us the lessons eluding our apprehensions!!!
