Spurting out in a drizzle
When the clouds fizzled
The atmosphere wasn’t fizzy
Nothing was in a bloom
Making it a cast a deeper gloom
Spelling a disruptive doom
Along with the threat that loom
Nature gave away the tears
Validating our worst fears
Of the consequence of the harm
We had caused to our worldwide farm
Sharing its grievances…
The earth sobbed like a child…
On the shoulder of man-kind
Warning to be wary of the future times
LOVE IS IN THE AIR
Love is in the air…
Love is in the face…
…the twinkling eyes had the glitter…
For once did they not flicker?
Lost in the vision of my dear…
…nights seem small
& days appear a trifle…
…eyes gleam with the glow of her face…
…mind is omnipresent around her…
& the heart, believe it or not
Beats more for her than my own self…
…food & water meanwhile
Keep betraying the laws of thirst & hunger…
…because they too
…now have an appetite of her presence
I breathe with my lungs
…the oxygen of your vision
& smell with my nose
…the aroma of your presence
…life was long
Before all this happened…
…now it is shortened in this heaven…
